With their previous releases the Black Rainbows stood for consistency, and that with plenty of charm and devotion. On their new album, the Psych Fuzz Trio, as the Italians call themselves, offers surprising nuances.

Once again the master guitarist and composer takes us on an eventful journey through different countries and epochs, which will not be forgotten so quickly. It is almost a miracle that the former Genesis string acrobat never copies himself and yet always remains himself.
The Italian label Heavy Psych Sounds has launched a series of split CDs featuring several bands from the genre anchored in the label's name. Volume 1, with Naam, White Hills (all from New York), the Italians Black Rainbows and The Flying Eyes from Baltimore is a highlight of this series, because the seven tracks offered here are all true highlights.
