The archives of large record companies still contain treasures that are discovered only by chance - like the demo tapes of Jeff Buckley, which he had recorded in February 1993 at the request of his label. His repertoire included many cover songs, but hardly any of his own, and he had only been signed for his live performance.
THE ROLLING STONES
Time is on our side: 50 years of Stones in rapid succession
"For most people, the sun, the moon, the stars - and the Rolling Stones - have always existed!" Keith Richards once commented on the longevity of his band. The Rolling Stones haven't been around as long as the sun - but long enough to look back on 50 years of Sex, Drugs & Rock'n'Roll. We do this by looking through the past half century for the most relevant events in the band's history - and summarizing the 50 most important Stones numbers from an eclipsed point of view.

YES
We're gonna party like it's 1980
You are one of the last outsiders of the golden Prog era. They're a band for eternity. And they have always been a real drama queen when it comes to personnel changes. But nobody could have foreseen that Yes would release a new album in the old "Drama" line-up after a ten-year studio break with singer Benoît David, who had originally jumped in as a temporary replacement. David, Steve Howe, Geoff Downes and Jon Anderson reveal their views on the revolutionary changes in Yes.

eclipsed check: 100 top cover songs
You turn on the radio, and there it is again, this déjà-vu: I know that, I've heard that before... Cover songs are omnipresent! In the best case, such a recording is not simply old wine in new tubes, but an ambitious transmission that reveals new facets of the song. We've gathered 100 songs to which this applies.
