PINK FLOYD - Let there be more Wright

The announcement of a new Pinkloyd album - the first in twenty years - resembled a bang. The decision of Messrs. Gilmour and Mason to do little or no promotion at all for their tribute to their deceased band colleague Rick Wright, though. This approach raises many questions. Don't the old masters believe in themselves and their output? Do you think the whole thing might already be a mistake? Or did they just hire the wrong PR agency? eclipsed about the trials and tribulations surrounding "The Endless River".

JON LORD - The last farewell

"Celebrating Jon Lord At The Albert Hall" (DVD, Blu-ray, CD) is a tribute to Jon Lord's diverse musical output. Ian Paice, who is married to the twin sister of the widow of his friend who died of cancer in 2012, played with the Hammond organist in Deep Purple and Whitesnake. At Whitesnake Paice also met guitarist Bernie Marsden again. He had worked with both of them on the exciting band project PAL (Paice, Ashton, Lord).

eclipsed: At the concert evening for Jon Lord you played with Bernie Marsden two tracks from the PAL album "Malice In Wonderland". Does that show in retrospect the significance this force had for you and Jon?

BLACK SABBATH
Four for Eternity: Sabbath's "Vol. 4."

"Vol. 4" is perhaps the most underrated album of Black Sabbath by the music interested public. Fans and connoisseurs see it differently, however, because the LP with the low association title is one of the most important in the career of the band that is so decisive for the history of hard rock. The fact that the album was released in September 1972 still borders on a miracle in view of the massive cocaine consumption of the band.
