Crispian Mills is already a weird bird. In the 90s he founded Kula Shaker and their first album, which combined Indian rhythms and mantras with indie pop, was a big hit. On the sequel, he tried his hand at Prog, when that was just pretty canceled. After the dissolution he ran the band The Jeevas, which focused on 60s pop, but despite quite good albums was hardly noticed. Now he is trying to make a comeback with Kula Shaker, but there can be no question of reheating an old idea.

Spidergawd were more than just a motor psycho side project from the beginning, even though half of the quartet consists of Norwegian Trondheim motor psycho members (Bent Saether on bass and Kenneth Kapstad on drums). Spidergawd are a vehicle in their own right, as in the furious "No Man's Land".
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN
Chronicler of the American (Alpine) Dream
In 1988 the band Prefab Sprout made it clear in their song "Cars And Girls" that life is about more than cars and girls - an obvious side blow to Bruce Springsteen and his supposedly limited view of the world. At the end of September the new Boss album "Magic" will be released. A welcome opportunity to look back on Springsteen's career and see what the man from New Jersey is really interested in.
