The German proggers of Toxic Smile with their most recent studio work "Farewell" certainly don't make for a "poisonous smile", but rather for a broad grin. The reason for this is the wealth of ideas and the joy of playing with which the formation works. In best prog manner the band around Larry B. (voc) and Marek Arnold (key, sax) did not compose short single songs this time, but wrote a 42-minute track, which really has it in itself. The starting point for the album was the realization that the people of Western civilization are flooded with optical sensations and have forgotten to listen to their environment.
