Can you ever get enough of Black Sabbath-infected bands? Clear answer. No! As long as they get to the point like Orchid or Mos Generator. Since five studio albums the trio from the northeast of the USA is already among us, but could not stir up as much dust as Orchid. "Electric Mountain Majesty" should be a strong argument for the fact that the inclined Doomhörer becomes finally attentive on it. All ten songs groove like hell. Bassist Scooter Haslip is about to get the "Geezer"-Butler-Handbanger medal re-hung. The voice of guitarist Tony Reed is more powerful than that of "Sankt Ozzy", but still reaches its heights. His guitarlicks have an effect, but sometimes they also dive into the spongy. But drummer Shawn Johnson shows us why Brad Wilk and Tommy Clufetos are not a real alternative in the Doom sphere. "Electric Mountain Majesty" sounds like the grandiose Orange Goblin have re-recorded "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath". Irresistible, with absolute danger of addiction!
