Founded in 1982 in the Dutch band, Vengeance has since become a multinational affair. Besides founding member and singer Leon Goewie, the band currently includes ex Alice Cooper guitarist Keri Kelli, bassist Chris Glen (ex-MSG, Alex Harvey) and drummer Chris Slade (ex-Earth Band, AC/DC). In their spare time these four are on the road as Steel Circle with an AC/DC Triubte Set. Some of this spirit they were able to put on this ninth studio album ("Bad To The Bone"). Producer Michael Voss (Madmax, Beggar's Bride, Michael Schenker) is responsible for most of Leon's songs. Goewie was also able to wrest the participation in two compositions from his former guitarist Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon, Star One) and founding guitarist Jan Somers can be heard on the instrumental "Jan's End Piece" for the last time before his death with a solo. "Crystal Eye" is the most successful work since the revival of the band in 2006 and offers fresh and crisp variations of their sound from the eighties.
