As is well known, nature offers a particularly rich pool of inspirations, which for centuries have fired the most diverse art forms again and again. Also the rock band The Besnard Lakes. The Canadian band was founded twelve years ago by Olga Goreas and Jace Lasek. The couple, who still form the core of the formation today, were inspired by the atmosphere of Besnard Lake, an enchanting lake in northern Saskatchewan.
