After two years of work, Seven Steps To The Green Door publish the second part of their saga about the mysterious Samuel and his search for his past. In order for the listeners to fully understand the concept, the band requires them to get to grips with the story
before listening to the album.
"The?Lie" appears opulent at first glance: the CD is accompanied by a lyric book the size of a pocketbook, which not only gathers the lyrics but also retells the plot. Musically, Marek Arnold and his comrades move between rock opera and lyrical progmusical. We talked to the mastermind about the project.
eclipsed: Can you briefly tell us where the second part takes up the plot of "The?Book" and what happens next?
U2 - The ultimate live band
The true greatness of U2 proves itself in its live capabilities. Like no other band in the world, the Irish have been able to stage themselves anew again and again over the past four decades, and have captivated even the most critical of audiences. While their studio albums are subject to strong qualitative fluctuations, Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. are still a power on stage today. eclipsed shows why and garnished the whole thing with concert memories of its authors.
In its original meaning, a fetish is an object to which magical powers are ascribed. Today, however, this refers to certain preferences, especially of a sexual nature. Marek Arnold, keyboarder and saxophonist of Seven Steps To The Green Door, also sees the album title "Fetish" as a suitable generic term for a gripping collection of songs about addiction, consumption and questionable media coverage.
eclipsed: "Fetish" deals primarily with media consumption and all its positive and negative effects. What made you decide to make this concept work?
