Die Ende der 80er in New Jersey gegründete Band um Mastermind Dave Wyndorf hat mit „Cobras & Fire“ einen so abgefuckten Heavy-Psych-Klumpen rausgehauen, dass einem beim Hören ganz schwindlig werden kann.
In 2014 Perfect Beings from L. A. had a great start with their album of the same name. The successor "II" underlines its reputation as the best American newcomer in classic programming. With the opener "Mar Del Fuego" you get the feeling to listen to a new worthy Yes work, where first Rick Wakeman comes to the front, then the guitar chiselling of a Steve Howe and the creaking Rickenbacker bass of the great Chris Squire sound out of the speakers.

In 2007 singer Arno Menses and guitarist Markus Steffen founded Subsignal as a side project of Sieges Even. The following year, they got off at Sieges Even. In the meantime the band is history, and Subsignal climb the ladder of success rung by rung.

With the second album "Salutations", the change of place and name is now followed by a small course correction with regard to the musical orientation. While the 2011 debut "White Buffalo" was a fiery rhythm'n'blues mix, the new work is a bow to the psychedelic of the late 60s.

Even with "Fragmentropy" Thielen does not allow himself to be guided by common ideas as to which elements an album should contain in order to pass through as a prog work.

Auch bei „Fragmentropy“ lässt sich Thielen nicht von gängigen Vorstellungen leiten, welche Elemente ein Album enthalten sollte, um als Progwerk durchzugehen.
